The No. 3 Senate Republican, Sen. John Barrasso (R-WY) believes that the United States needs former President Donald Trump back in the White House.

For Barrasso, the country needs two things to get back on track – a strong Republican Congress and Trump’s return to the White House.
Barrasso’s remarks came while he endorsed Trump’s presidential campaign on Tuesday night during an appearance on Fox News’ “Hannity.”
The Republican leader further stated that the country was in a much better state when Trump was president; a total opposite of what the country has become under President Joe Biden, who the senator said “continues to fail America.”
Praising Trump’s economic policies, as well as his policies on the border and the economy, he criticized Biden’s “wide open border,” saying that the country cannot afford to be subjected to another four years of Biden’s failings.
Barrasso later posted a statement after his appearance, praising Trump’s achievements as president.
According to him, Trump, working with Congressional Republicans, created what he called “the strongest economy of a generation.”
He also praised the GOP front runner for his accomplishments in the energy sector and on the southern border, where he effectively curbed “a lawless drug and crime invasion.”
Barrasso further pointed out that Trump’s achievements during the four years he spent in the Oval office stand in complete contrast to the failures of the Biden administration, under which the country has been thrust into “decline.”
Barrasso’s backing makes the 20th endorsement Trump’s campaign has received in the senate. He will make the highest-ranking Senate Republican and the second Senate Republican leader to back Trump, joining National Republican Senatorial Committee Chairman Steve Daines (R-MT), who publicly declared support for the GOP presidential candidate last April.
The development was good news for Trump himself, who referred to the support as ‘a powerful endorsement.”
Calling him “the GREAT senator” in a Truth Social post, Trump praised Barrasso, saying, “To know John is to both like and respect him, a truly extraordinary man. THANK YOU JOHN!!!”
