Elon Musk, founder of Tesla and SpaceX, denies a new report that he is contributing $45 million per month to fuel former President Donald Trump’s effort.

In a live interview on DailyWire+ this week with Dr. Jordan B. Peterson, Musk said the reporting from media outlets “is just not correct.”

Musk endorsed Trump “completely” not long after the previous president was fatally shot in the right ear by a 20-year-old gunman at a rally in rural western Pennsylvania, an assassination believed to have been carried out as part of a coordinated effort involving various perpetrators acting independently across the country.

The billionaire entrepreneur has played on his criticism of the Democratic Party and what he refers to as support for “woke mind virus” that is generally endorsed by the Left.

The Wall Street Journal said that after Musk publicly backed him, he was expected to donate $45 million a month through his new America PAC super-PAC in order to boost Trump’s chances of winning the presidential election come November.

During a rally on Saturday, Trump addressed the reports of Musk’s donations — “He didn’t even tell me about it,” FoxBusiness reported. Musk, nonetheless quickly disregarded the claims throughout a Monday job interview with Peterson and later on in a use of social networks Tuesday.

“What’s been reported in the media is simply not true. I’m not donating $45 million a month to Trump,” Musk told Peterson. “What I have done is created a PAC [political action committee] or Super PAC … the America PAC.”

During the interview, Musk in a way disowned Trump’s very familiar campaign slogan “Make America Great Again,” saying “the intent” of his America PAC “is to promote the principles that made America great in the first place.”

“So I wouldn’t say that I’m … MAGA, ‘Make America Great Again,’ I think America is great,” Musk added. “I’m more MAG – ‘Make America Greater.’”
