In what would be his first foray into politics, former President Donald Trump’s youngest son, Barron, has been selected by the Florida Republican Party to be one of the state’s at-large delegates for the Republican National Convention.

Barron, who is set to graduate from high school next week, would be alongside his half-brothers, Donald Jr. and Eric as well as half-sister Tiffany Boulou and her husband, Michael Boulous and 37 other Republicans on the Florida delegates to the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in July.

Barron has remained out of the public eye due to his age. However, he was cast into the spotlight recently as his name came up during his father’s hush money trial when his lawyers argued that he should be allowed a day off to attend Barron’s graduation ceremony in Florida on May 17.

A Trump campaign official confirmed to ABC News that Barron is “on the delegation roster and … is very interested in our nation’s political process.”

Trump himself confirmed his youngest son’s interest in politics during an appearance on Kayal and Company on Philadelphia’s Talk Radio 1210 WPHT.

“He’s seen it. He doesn’t have to hear. He is a smart one. He doesn’t have to hear much. But he’s, he’s a great guy. He’s a little on the tall side. I will tell you, he’s a tall one, but he is a good-looking guy,” Trump said, adding that Barron “does like politics.”

Trump went on to say that Barron will be going on to college having finished high school. However, some of his school choices are changing given the outbreak of anti-Israel protests in college campuses across the country.

Republican National Committee Co-Chair Lara Trump, Eric’s wife, also spoke to Breitbart News about Barron’s entry into politics, saying that he is someone to “look out.”

“When you say that he may take over the world one day, I wouldn’t put it past him. He, you know, he’s quiet because he knows that he’s far superior to any of these lunatics out there. He doesn’t need to get in the fray,” she stated, adding, “That’s what I call those kind. He’s a sleeper — look out for him. When he bursts on the scene — and one day he will — nobody’s safe. He’s gonna take it over.”
