Recent polling data from Harvard-Harris indicates substantial backing for former President Trump among the American electorate.

The survey highlights widespread support for Trump’s key policy initiatives, with an overwhelming 77% of voters supporting comprehensive government spending reviews, while approximately 70% favor reducing federal expenditures by one trillion dollars.

A significant majority, reaching 72% expressed support for establishing a specialized agency focused on spending reduction, similar to DOGE.

After five weeks in his term, Trump maintains a 52% approval rating among Americans.

The data suggests strong public backing for his stance on immigration reform, government spending reduction, and his vision for American values following the Biden administration.

According to the poll findings: “In his first month in office, President Donald Trump’s approval rating is at 52%, with voters most satisfied with his job on immigration, reducing the cost of the government, and returning America to its values. The majority of voters support Trump’s policies on the border, focus on government expenditures, gender, DEI, and offshore drilling but have concerns on his foreign policies involving tariffs, the Israel-Hamas war, and the war in Ukraine.”

The results garnered positive attention from Elon Musk.

In contrast, Democratic approval ratings currently stand at 36%, trailing Republican ratings by 15 percentage points.
