Megyn Kelly believes former President Donald Trump is not the same man he was in 2016. During a discussion with conservative commentator Glenn Beck Friday, she pointed out that the GOP presidential candidate is starting to show his age and has lost “multiple steps” mentally.

“There’s no question Trump has lost a step or multiple steps. He is confusing Joe Biden for [Barack] Obama … I know he’s now saying he intentionally did that — go back and look at the clips, it wasn’t intentional,” Kelly said.

Drawing reference to other gaffes Trump has reportedly made recently, she said, “The reference about how somebody is going to get us into World War II, confusing countries, confusing cities where he is, and it’s happening more and more.”

She then went ahead to give the reason, wondering if conservatives are “going to pretend” that he is “just as vibrant and mentally sharp as he was in ‘16?”

“This is what happens when you’re 77-years-old. Trump seems inhuman, but he’s not inhuman. He’s a human. He’s a man. DeSantis’ line about ‘Father Time spares no one,’ was a good one,” she stated.

According to Kelly, she does not see a more fit and capable choice between Trump and President Joe Biden for the presidential election.

Kelly’s statements was quickly circulated by his opponents, including Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, whose campaign shared the video on X.

While scoring points for the GOP front runner with his opponents, Kelly also recently said that “the country will burn” if Trump gets jailed ahead of Election Day in his election interference case.

Speaking about the fourth GOP debate held on Wednesday, she said, “I don’t think anybody thinks anything really changed as a result of last night so once again, Trump won because if nothing changed, he’s the winner, he’s 50 points ahead.”

“There will be riots, the country will burn if she sends him to jail prior to November 2024, and Andy, he’s the smartest guy we all know, is saying ‘Don’t rule it out,’” she added.
