The U.S. Virgin Islands Republican Caucuses Thursday night held more victory for former President Donald Trump, as he held a considerable lead over former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley.

At the caucuses, which were held hours before Nevada’s Republican Caucuses, Trump earned 74% of 99% of the votes counted while Haley had 26% of the total votes. The caucus’ ballot named both Trump and Haley as well as some former candidates like Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, biotech executive Vivek Ramaswamy, former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and businessman Perry Johnson, who registered while in the race but did not withdraw their names after they dropped their campaigns.

This would make Trump’s third consecutive primary win over Haley, who is his major last standing rival in his bid to secure the Republican Party’s presidential ticket.

Trump’s win followed a post on his Instagram account which included a photo showing him in Trump Force One.

“On my way to the Great State of Nevada, while speaking to the Patriots of the U.S. Virgin Islands as they cast their votes for the Republican Nomination for President. Let’s WIN these Caucuses and get on with defeating Crooked Joe Biden. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” he captioned the post.

Earlier that morning, he released a video message to the U.S. territory located in the Caribbean, urging them to “go out and caucus.”

Predicting that he would “take it all” that evening, he added in his video message that “It looks like we have the Republican nomination pretty much locked, and that’s the way it should be.”

The GOP frontrunner also had Rep. Jack Bergman (R-MI) and Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) on the ground campaigning for him.

Haley, on the other hand, had Rep. Ralph Norman (R-SC) campaigning for her in person while she participated in Zoom calls with the island Republicans.

After his win, he took to Truth Social to celebrate his win, writing, “Great news! As we are landing in Nevada, getting ready to go to Caucus, word just came that we overwhelmingly won the Virgin Islands Caucus, ALL Delegates, with almost 75% of the Vote. I have just called to thank those involved.”

“They are celebrating, and having a great time – They deserve it! This has been a very Big Day for your Favorite President, the Republican Party, and Democracy!” he added.
