A valuable watch belonging to Travis Kelce has been recovered in Providence, Rhode Island, following a burglary at his Kansas residence last month, according to ABC News sources familiar with the case.

The timepiece, previously undisclosed to the public, was among items stolen from the NFL star’s Leawood home. While authorities had earlier confirmed $20,000 in cash was taken, they hadn’t mentioned additional stolen property.

Investigators believe the burglary wasn’t random. Sources indicate the perpetrators meticulously studied Kelce’s property before executing the October 7 break-in.

The incident occurred shortly after fellow Kansas City Chiefs player Patrick Mahomes experienced a similar burglary. Law enforcement suspects the criminals exploited the athletes’ game schedules to determine when their homes would be vacant.

A security source told ABC News the criminals employed deceptive tactics, “posing as delivery men, maintenance workers or joggers to learn about residences, neighborhoods and security systems.”

Local authorities remain tight-lipped. Leawood Police Captain Jason Ahring informed Page Six they wouldn’t discuss the ongoing investigation, while Providence police denied any involvement.

“I can’t get into too many details because the investigation is still ongoing, but it’s obviously something you don’t want to happen to anybody — and obviously yourself,” Mahomes stated during a recent press conference.

Sources revealed to Page Six that Kelce’s partner, Taylor Swift, expressed relief that neither party was home during the incidents.

The break-in at Kelce’s residence occurred at 7:30 p.m. on game day, while Mahomes’ home was targeted during Kelce’s birthday celebrations two days prior.
