Patrick Mahomes is keeping his options open when it comes to growing his family further.
The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback recently shared his thoughts about potentially expanding his family beyond three children with his wife Brittany Mahomes, suggesting he hasn’t completely ruled out having more kids in the future.
Speaking at a Tuesday press conference, the 29-year-old NFL star indicated that while a fourth child might be in the cards, it’s not an immediate priority.
“My goal was always three. So we’ve had three,” the football player remarked about his children – Sterling, 3, Bronze, 2, and their newest addition, baby Golden.

“We’ll stick there for a while and see if we need to come back and get another one later on,” Patrick continued.
The Super Bowl victor expressed his joy about his family’s recent expansion to five members following Golden’s birth on Sunday, highlighting the special moments of introducing a new sibling to their children.
“It’s cool to welcome another baby girl in our family and see how our kids react to her,” he said. “Having baby sissy and stuff like that.”
The quarterback acknowledged his wife Brittany’s primary role in caring for their newborn, mentioning that she handles the majority of responsibilities while he focuses on being supportive.

The couple, who have been together since high school, shared their pregnancy news with their third daughter through Instagram in July 2024.
Interestingly, Patrick had previously stated during a summer press conference that their third child would complete their family, saying, “I’m done. I’ll say that. I said three, and I’m done.”
He also discussed their intentional choice to start their family early, explaining, “We’re having our third kid now to join our family, and Brittany does a great job of doing that, and we still go out and enjoy our life and let our kids see these great things.”
The Mahomes, both 29, celebrated their second wedding anniversary this past March, having tied the knot in 2022.
