Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign is under pressure after it assembles a “Frankenstein”-like team.
The team, composed of Harris aides and ex-Obama administration officials along with holdovers from President Biden’s own campaign, have reportedly struggled to meld into a single unit. The six people discussed the project.
“The entanglement of these different entities has led to many people feeling a real lack of role clarity,” one source said.
The team—put together just before Biden dropped out, is scrambling to get diverse elements of itself working well with each other.
“It’s just a mad dash,” one source said. “Things are colliding occasionally, but it’s not malicious.”
So people as far down the chain, several rungs annexes sources said things were in reality a bit foggy about who was actually behind all of this effort
While this is flawed, participants in the campaign are hopeful that an upcoming election win will force the team to concentrate and prevent any internal conflicts from blowing up.
A second insider cited source sensed the campaign was positioned to soar, no matter how awkwardly Harris has portrayed herself as she prepares for a head-to-head battle against former president Donald Trump.
