Representative Brian Fitzpatrick from Pennsylvania has issued an urgent call for government intervention regarding the surge in unexplained drone sightings across Philadelphia’s suburban areas.

Taking to social media platform X, Fitzpatrick emphasized his commitment to community safety, stating: “Today, I sent an urgent letter to the DHS, FBI, and FAA calling for immediate answers and decisive action regarding the increasing reports of unexplained drone activity. The safety and security of our community, our neighbors, and our nation depend on transparency and accountability from our federal agencies who have a responsibility to keep us safe. I will remain vigilant in my pursuit to uncover any and all facts surrounding this ongoing incident.”

This action follows recent Pentagon statements confirming that while the mysterious drones observed in New Jersey and northeastern United States aren’t military-operated or foreign-controlled, their origin remains unknown.

The Pentagon has also dismissed claims made by Representative Jeff Van Drew suggesting Iranian involvement. Pentagon spokesperson Sabrina Singh explicitly stated, “There is not any truth to that. There is no Iranian ship off the coast of the United States, and there’s no so-called mothership launching drones towards the United States.”

The issue has garnered attention from various New Jersey officials, including Republican State Senator Jon Bramnick and Representative Thomas Kean Jr., who are demanding investigations into these concerning aerial activities. These lawmakers are pushing for immediate action to address the escalating situation affecting coastal communities.
