Convicted felon Hunter Biden and First Lady Jill Biden are reportedly “determined” to prevent President Joe Biden from dropping out of the 2024 presidential run.

Politico reported that a growing number of individuals in the Biden family, notably his sister Valerie, voiced concern about the President’s health long ago, but those concerns were ignored.

“First lady Jill Biden and the president’s son Hunter Biden are dead-set on the campaign going forward,” the report said.

It seems as though First Lady Jill Biden wants her husband to continue running for office, despite the rapid decline of his cognitive and physical health. Several news sources have been questioning why she seems bent on him running for re-election.

Jill Biden’s ex-husband, Bill Stevenson, was able to shed light on some of those motivations in his recent interview over the weekend with the New York Post. In the interview, he shared that Jill has turned into “a completely different woman.”

Stevenson previously said that Jill’s relationship with Joe began as an affair that they had while he was still married to her. “I just don’t understand why she is so adamant about defending him and keeping him in the race since it appears that he’s struggling,” Stevenson said. “It appears that he’s struggling with everybody these days.”

Presidential historian Douglas Brinkley said earlier this year that Jill Biden was an extraordinarily ambitious woman who is doing the exact opposite of what many first ladies have done: Beseeching their husbands not to run for re-election.

“She likes power. She wants to stay. She wants some sense of revenge,” he said. “She teaches in Virginia Community College. This milieu around our building here, this is her home. And the idea of relinquishing it all after you’ve taken the slings and arrows of the last years of attacks, and at the last minute, just when you get all the delegates you’re going to say, I’m going to open it up to a bunch of people — it’s very childish when you read those kind of reports.”
